Come discover the foundation of healthy plants in this engaging, part-lecture, part-hands-on workshop focused on working with soil for gardens and indoor plants. We’ll cover essential soil principles, organic gardening practices, soil testing and pH, the soil pyramid, and how to mix your own soil blends for containers and in-ground gardens.
Participants will also learn the block method of seed starting and create their own soil mix. You’ll leave with practical knowledge for building healthy soil, plus hands-on experience planting seeds in your custom-mixed ingredients.
