The Scoop on Soil – the Foundation for a Successful Garden

Please join the WSU Extension Master Gardeners on Sunday, April 27th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM in the Borden-Seabert Exhibition Building (a.k.a. Dog Barn) at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds for an afternoon learning more about soil and how you can improve your soil for a successful gardening experience. The program will open with a presentation on soil health and history, followed by demonstrations where you can learn more about:
Magnetic Soils
pH: Why do we care?
Potting mix- reading the label
Soil Testing
Snap Peas and Container Planting
Terrarium display
