Seed Savers Harvest Celebration
October 20 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Our Seed Savers Harvest Celebration is a FREE annual event for the community held at the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden inside the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds.
The event will be held Sunday, October 20th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and all activities will be on-going during these 2 hours. Visitors can come anytime between 1 and 3 p.m. but be aware that early visitors will have the most diverse variety of plant materials from which to choose. We will have some boxes available to tote plants & all home, but you are welcome to bring your own box or bag if you like.
The Master Gardeners will be sharing the bounty of our demonstration garden and some from our home gardens. Here are some of the activities we hope to share with you: free flower seed, free plants, free dried plant material (for flower arrangements or ?), gardening information, demonstrations on tool sharpening, and activities for kids & kids-at-heart.
We love sharing the bounty from our garden with you. Join us and take home something fun to put in your own garden.
We are focused on plants that support native insects and other life forms. Please feel free to ask us about these vital plants that support life on our planet.
Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities and special needs. Please make all requests to WSU Extension (360) 875-9331 at least two weeks prior to the event.
WSU Extension programs and employment are available without discrimination. Evidence of noncompliance may be reported through your local WSU Extension office.
