Plant Clinics associated w/weekly Elma Food Bank. We grow veggie, herb and fruit seedlings in our Elma demo garden greenhouse to share w/food bank clients so that they can grow some of their own food, if they so desire. Gardening provides more than food for our bodies. It also helps us find purpose and connection with the earth. This is a joyful time spent w/ food bank clients, providing them with information to help them have a successful garden. Elma Food Bank is open only on Mondays 10 – 2. Our plant clinics will dove-tail with the availability of seedlings for the clients and the proper time to be planting them. All of these plant clinics are at the food bank and begin @ 10 a.m.
