SUMMARY:The Art of Pruning
DESCRIPTION:Good pruning is one of the keys to a happy and healthy plant. The last in this year’s Master Gardening series at the Hoquiam Timberland Library will be presented Saturday\, June 17th from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.  Come learn the secrets of proper pruning. WSU Master Gardeners Garnet Kuronen and Jude Armstrong will begin the class with a discussion of basic pruning skills and techniques.  This will be followed by a demonstration and practice for attendees\, using the plants outside in the library’s landscaping.  No equipment\, tools\, fee or pre-registration is required.  Just come to the library\, located at 420 7th Street in Hoquiam.  Be prepared to improve your gardening skills. \nFor more information about the workshop\, contact the library at 360-532-1710. \nRequests for reasonable accommodation need to be made two weeks prior to the program. Please make all requests to WSU Extension 360-482-2934. Cooperating agencies: Washington State University\, U.S. Department of Agriculture\, and Grays Harbor County.
