This is the first time our Master Gardener group has hosted a garden tour in Pacific County. \nThe 2017 tour features five delightful gardens a short drive away in the Raymond area of Pacific County. The gardens are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Four of the gardens are in the scenic Willapa Valley\, off Highway 6. The fifth garden\, the historic North River Resort\, is a few miles along SR 105\, where the North River flows into Willapa Bay. \nEach of the gardens has unique qualities\, demonstrating a variety of gardening techniques to provide you with ideas for your own plantings. This tour includes a riverside property\, a one-acre lake\, and a variety of structures and sculptures\, as well as adaptations for the Pacific County climate. \nThe ticket books\, now available for $12\, include garden descriptions\, maps and driving directions to each garden.
