The Discovery Garden is located behind the Museum’s parking lot at 115 SW Lake Street. \n** There will also be a Tool Sharpening Station at this Plant Clinic! \nIf you have questions such as:\n• How do I place mulch around trees and shrubs?\n• My one rhododendron is wilting and dying. What’s wrong?\n• Moss is all over my lawn. What moss killer can I use?\n• My hellebore plants looks fairly healthy but some of the leaves look damaged. What should I do? \nWe can help you! Stop by anytime. Bring samples if you can. DESCRIPTION:The WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties will be hosting a Plant Clinic and Information Center on Saturday\, June 1\, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2 PM in the Discovery Garden parking lot at the Columbia Heritage Museum\, 115 SE Lake Street\, Ilwaco\, WA. We will be there to address your plant questions\, concerns\, and suggestions.\n \nIf you have questions such as: \n\nHow do I place mulch around trees and shrubs?\nMy rhododendron is wilting and dying. What’s wrong?\nMoss is all over my lawn. What moss killer can I use?\nMy hellebore plants looks fairly healthy but some of the leaves look damaged. What should I do?\n\nWe can help you! Stop by anytime between 10 am and 2 pm. Bring samples if you can. \nWe will also have handouts on the following topics as well as other information:\n• Growing Vegetables in a Marine Environment\n• How to Identify and Prevent Heat Stress in Plants \nWSU Extension also supports two web sites that can help you diagnose your own plant problems.\n• Hortsense (http://hortsense.cahnrs.wsu.edu/Home/HortsenseHome.aspx) – Contains fact sheets for the home gardener to manage plant problems using Integrated Pest Management (IPM).\n• Pestsense (http://pestsense.cahnrs.wsu.edu/Home/PestsenseHome.aspx) – Contains fact sheets for managing common indoor pest problems using Integrated Pest Management (IPM). \nWe will be sponsoring several plant clinics later on in June\, in July\, in August and in September at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum.
