SUMMARY:Cranberry Greenhouse Activities at the Cranberry Harvest Festival
DESCRIPTION:Come join the Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties at the Cranberry Greenhouse as part of the Cranberry Harvest Festival\, Saturday\, October 10th and Sunday\, October 11th\, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We will be on hand both days to answer your plant questions and concerns\, and offer suggestions. The Plant Clinics will be in the Cranberry Greenhouse\, which is located at 2907 Pioneer Road W\, Long Beach. Along with the Plant Clinic\, we’re giving away cover crop seeds and have Children’s Activities. \n** There will also be a Garden Tool Sharpening Demonstration as part of these activities! \nIf you have questions such as:\n• How do I place mulch around trees and shrubs?\n• My one rhododendron is wilting and dying. What’s wrong?\n• Moss is all over my lawn. What moss killer can I use?\n• My hellebore plants looks fairly healthy but some of the leaves look damaged. What should I do? \nWe can help you! Stop by anytime. Bring samples if you can. SUMMARY:Seed Savers Harvest Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Our Seed Savers Harvest Celebration is a FREE annual event for the community held at the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden on the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds. \nThe event will be held Sunday\, October 25th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and all activities will be on-going during these 2 hours. Visitors can come anytime betwe but be aware that early visitors will have the most diverse variety of plant materials from which to choose. \nThe Master Gardeners will be sharing the bounty of our demonstration garden and some from our home gardens. Here are some of the activities we hope to share with you:  \n\nfree flower seeds\,\nfree plant starts\,\nfree dried plant material\,\nfree demonstrations\,\ngardening advice and information\,\nfree garden tool sharpening\,\nfree activities for kids and adults\, and\nLots of plant-focused kindred spirits.\n\nWe love sharing the bounty from our garden with you. Join us and take home something fun to put in your own garden. \nWe are focused on plants that support native insects and other life forms. Please feel free to ask us about these vital plants that support life on our planet. \n\nReasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities and special needs. Please make all requests to WSU Extension (360) 875-9331 at least two weeks prior to the event. \nWSU Extension programs and employment are available without discrimination.
