DESCRIPTION:Join the WSU Extension Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties for our Growing a Salsa Vegetable Garden Workshop on April 19th from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum\, 115 W Lake Street in Ilwaco. Everything you need to make a delicious salsa can be grown in containers as well as in the garden. Learn best horticultural practices for growing tomatillos\, tomatoes\, peppers\, serrano and jalapeno peppers\, and garlic in containers. Participants will plant seeds in starting trays and learn ways to use everyday items around the home as DIY seed starting containers. \nAt the end of the class\, participants will leave with a salsa recipe\, seeds planted in containers\, and handouts for care of the plants as they grow.  \nThe workshop is free and open to the public.\nTomatoes going to the food bank\n \nReasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities and special needs. What’s wrong?\n• Moss is all over my lawn. What moss killer can I use?\n• My hellebore plants looks fairly healthy but some of the leaves look damaged. What should I do? \nWe can help you!
