DESCRIPTION:The Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties will be hosting a Plant Clinic on Saturday\, April 12\, 2025 from 12:00 AM to 4 PM at the Mermaid Museum at the Westport Winery. \n \nCommon questions for the Master Gardener volunteers are: \n\nWhat plants grow best in the Pacific Northwest?\nWhat can I grow in the maritime environment?\nHow can I test my soil?\nWhat will I have problems growing where I live?\n\nTo help us better diagnose a plant problem\, please try to share as much of the following information as possible: \n\nThe type of damage are you seeing and when it start\nThe parts of the plant that are affected: flower\, leaf\, stem\, fruit\, etc.\nHow is the plant watered and the amount and frequency of watering\nThe location of the plant ; in a garden bed or in the lawn\, next to a driveway or house\, in full or part sun\, the direction the plant faces\, etc.\n\nSharing photographs of your plant problem\, plant identification or insect identification is helpful. DESCRIPTION:Join the WSU Extension Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties in the Pavilion at Lake Sylvia State Park on Saturday\, April 12 where we’ll have examples of local native plants and information about their care.  \nA state park Discover Pass is required for parking within the park. While you’re there\, take advantage of the trails and see how many trilliums you can count!\n \n \n \n  \nReasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities and special needs. Please make all requests to WSU Extension 360-482-2934 at least two weeks prior to the event. \nWSU Extension programs and employment are available without discrimination.
